It is the lining of our All-Purpose bota bags. We call it that because it makes the bota bag easy to use and look after:

  • What it is: an inner lining made of a heat-sealed polymer, certified for food contact, flexible and resistant.
  • Taste intact: it doesn’t transfer flavours; wine tastes of wine and water of water.
  • Any drink: wine, water, fizzy drinks and spirits of any strength.
  • Into the fridge: you can chill the bota bag with the drink inside.
  • No curing or upkeep: just rinse it with water, and months without use don’t affect it.
  • Flexible and durable: it moves with the leather without cracking.

Las Tres ZZZ uses exclusively top-quality goatskins, clean of stains and cuts, and tanned by a vegetable and traditional process that gives our wineskins their characteristic softness and flexibility.

The Classic ‘All-Purpose’ wineskin (formerly latex-lined) is our easy-care option and the ideal choice if you won’t use it often, even for wine: it needs no curing or care between uses, so it is ready whenever you take it out of the cupboard. And it works with any drink, any time: wine, water on a hike, a cold soft drink in summer or spirits at a party. It has our ZZZ Easy Lining, which doesn’t transfer flavours and can go in the fridge; just rinse it.

Wineskins are not just a traditional product. They are also a sustainable product, ideal for sharing and gifting. Even nicer than drinking from a wineskin at home or in the countryside is sharing it with others, and in this belief we have been making our wineskins for more than 150 years.
